Anime Is anime really a hobby? I would consider it a hobby just because its something I enjoy on my spare time. Anime has always been in my life ever since I could remember. When I was little my aunts in japan would send me tapes of anime and shows so that I never forget japanese and to never forget where my roots come from. I remember watching the original dragon ball this way also. I haven't liked anything but the original dragon ball. After a while the packages of tapes and all stopped coming and my mom would go to rent japanese tv shows/cartoons from the japanese video store, but as I grew older I stopped watching anime and concentrated more on japanese music shows. =^.^= Just about a year ago, I got back into anime. Not much has changed since I stopped watching, but theres a lot of catching up to do, thats for sure. Anime is beautiful. I think the people that draw manga and do the animes are very talented. The style is nothing like any other. Its been copied by many others in failed attempts.
